It all adds up to love

Lisel and glenn 1

Lisel and Glenn met when she joined Glenn's accounting firm after moving to Western Australia from Victoria.  Lisel remembers initially saying they had absolutely nothing in common excet for the fact they were both accountants!  Proving that opposites DO attract, Glenn and Lisel soon realised what they had together was something very special indeed.  After seeking endorsement from his three sons and Lisel's father, Glenn surprised Lisel with a proposal on her birthday at Rockpool.

Harold Boas Gardens is a fabulous place for a wedding ceremony.  It's a little oasis in the heart of West Perth - easy to get to, lots of shade, running water, and close to many function centres and restaurants.  I can't believe in the past four years that this was my first time at Harold Boas Gardens!  It will definitely be one of my recommended ceremony venue locations from now on.

Lisel and Glenn were such a lovely couple to work with.  We shared some funny stories about their courtship and long lunches but everyone at the ceremony could feel the love between them and the significance of the commitment they were making to each other in a delightfully intimate and personal late afternoon ceremony.  Glenn's sons Dermott, Matt and Lewis all played significant roles in supporting their father on his big day and their respect and love for Lisel was also very clear.

Lisel looked so beautiful and glamorous in a sleek satin gown with styling reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn.  She walked up the aisle to Lullaby by Bond - a really modern take on Pachabel's Canon in D and we finished with Marry You by Bruno Mars.  The set up for the ceremony was completed by Candice from Touched by Angels and photos were taken by Peter Dawson.

Glenn and Lisel had photos taken in the grounds of the Harold Boas Gardens before joining their guests for a reception at The University Club in Crawley.

Congratulations to a lovely couple.
