About Ann Lord, Civil Celebrant

I’m delighted to be able to share in one of the most exciting and memorable days in a couple’s life.

With a professional background in education and psychology, I’ve spent the past 20 years working in the education sector with young people of all ages, parents, teachers and administrators in the Perth metro area and the far north of Western Australia.

An experienced writer and public speaker, I completed a course of study six years ago to become an authorised marriage celebrant.  Warm, friendly and professional, I bring genuine joy to your special day.

As a celebrant authorised by the Australian Government’s Attorney-General’s Department, I engage regularly in profesional learning and can perform ceremonies anywhere in Australia.

You may have seen me as an exhibitor at Perth's alternative bridal fair First Comes Love in May 2012. 

On Saturday 6 April 2013 I'm proud to say I was at my old stomping ground, the University of Western Australia, with some fantastic Perth wedding industry people for Perth's Wedding Upmarket.  You can also see my work in Smitten Magazine, an online magazine for stylish Perth brides and I am an active member of Australia’s leading marriage celebrant professional association, the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC).

I take on a limited number of ceremonies each year so please ensure you enquire early about your chosen date.
